Julia Lloyd | Creative Producer
The creative process — the doing, the making, the hands getting dirty, the shift from concept to real world — that’s the good stuff.
My philosophy: Experimentation with just the right amount of structure.
After receiving my degree in Studio Art in Alabama, my career started in Arts Administration where I got early clarity on what fuels me: Bridging the gap between ideators/artists and action/outcomes. Those early days were spent lowering the barrier to entry for Michigan artists by connecting them with local resources. Following that I moved across the lake to join a video + photo production studio in Wisconsin. A few years later I move down to North Carolina to manage 3D photogrammetry and AR/VR projects for a retailer’s innovation lab. Today I’m still in NC, but now I’m agency-side leading a team of Producers creating print, video, photo, radio, VR, and experiential projects.
Outside of work I’m usually horseback riding (western pleasure), painting (oils), riling up my dog (Levi), and I’ve recently learned that birders are really on to something.
